Digital Service Organizations

Digital Service Organizations (DSOs) improve the efficiency of government agencies by helping them apply best practices developed by software development communities to their operations and service delivery work. Two agencies within the federal government, 18F and Defense Digital Services, are pioneering this type of work. Cities should build similar organizations within their own governments.
